In South Korea, I learned about Hanji, a paper described to last over 1,000 years. Inspired by this paper and traditional Korean conservation techniques, I rendered local architectures, seemingly ephemeral and in despair, in order to preserve their lives and histories. Each printed structure is built in honor of community, craft, and re-imagining tradition. Sources include prints of personal sketchbook pages, videos, photographs, and found ephemera - remixed, printed, projected, and assembled into layered, multi dimensional assortments.
